Sarah Bettencourt is a Massachusetts based photographer and educator. Recent projects include photographic essays based in Mexico, India, Cambodia, Laos and East Africa. Recently, she has turned the camera closer to home with an on-going project examining and chronicling family life in the suburbs.
Sarah’s freelance work spans a variety of topics including weddings, family portraits and real estate.
Her work has been featured in publications such as The Hartford Courant and InTravel Magazine and has been exhibited at a variety of spaces including Harvard University and the Sculley Square Gallery at Boston City Hall. Two of her documentary projects are also on permanent exhibit at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
